Whether your intended purpose is hunting, competition or recreation, this course focuses on the fundamentals of precision rifle shooting. The course starts with two hours of classroom instruction providing an overview of topics from types of precision rifles, optics and reticles, ammunition and ballistics, wind corrections, and more designed to give the student a good base of knowledge. Shooting fundamentals are stressed so that they become second nature and can be successfully performed in many environments. We shoot from 100 to 400 yards and work through shooting positions from supported prone through unsupported positions and positions using field expedient rests.  Students gather DOPE on their equipment out to 400 yards and use the maximum point blank technique to demonstrate the ability to rapidly take accurate shots in the field.

The final day, field exercises are held to challenge the student and demonstrate proficiency including unknown distance engagements and head to head matchups at 400yds on decreasing size targets.
