| 08-25-10 -- The November Handgun I-III course is full. And we are accepting backup positions. Weekday Handgun I-III Class We are also offering something that hasn't been available for a while. A civilian handgun course during the week. October 18-19-20th (M,T,W) we will be opening up our Handgun I-III iteration. You can choose to take all three courses over three days. Or you can step into whatever your next level is. Normally we don't do these for two reasons. One, most people don't take off work in the middle of the week, if they can take the same class on the weekend. Two, our weekday clients are usually groups who are "working". So if you have had TDI on your "To Do List" for a while but the weekend schedules never worked out, this is your chance. And just to make everyone aware, this is a rare offering. Don't expect to see this again in the near future. --TDI Webmaster |

02-09-10 -- We are on Facebook. Still in the process of setting it up with content, but we are working on it. So after much peer pressure from students and staff, we have moved into the 21st Century. Also it is the preferred method of contact by some of our overseas students. --Webmaster |

| 01-29-10 -- The TDI Staff is back from SHOT. Lots of new things to see. We will be posting some pictures from the show, and announcing some new offerings for our students in the next week. But before we all left, two of our staff members were married this January. Congratulations to John and TJ Motil! After the ceremony it was time for pictures. When your illustrious webmaster looks up from his camera to take a few snaps, I see the wedding couple breaking out the "family gear". Hahahaha! The images came out quite nicely don't you think?
So for those interested, you can look at the dress and the fashion. And for those more into the gear, you can look at the ARs up close in the picture section. --Webmaster

| 01-12-10 -- Things are very busy around here this time of year. While the casual shooting is down with the cold weather, our activity is up getting ready for SHOT 2010 in Las Vegas next week. As of right now, it appears a significant number of our staff are going to be in attendance. You are most likely to find us if you stop by the KA-BAR Law Enforcement booth.
For those of you who have always wanted to attend a class at TDI, but wanted to find out more information first. You can find a nice story about our Tactical Rifle I class in this month's issue of SWAT Magazine. Abner Miranda was nice enough to stop out and "Run" through some of our training. The issue is currently on newsstands as the February 2010 edition. Here is a cover-shot of the SWAT Magazine issue. Again, if you are at SHOT, stop by and say hello. If not, we will be posting some updates and pics from the show. --Webmaster |

These videos are intended to show the user how their blade will or won't react well to various types of clothing. Something that should be considered in both an offensive or defensive scenario.
The civilian video is 30 minutes in length while the LEO video has an extra 10 minutes for LEO clothing, uniforms and body armor. They are broken up into chapters that is easily accessible via a menu. So if you wish to view a particular demo, all you have to do is select it. This is a very handy feature for our trainer customers out there. And here is the best part. These videos are only $10.00 + $2.00 for shipping handling! A 30-40 minute video for 10 bucks! | 11-05-09 -- The mailing list has been activated. It is a confirmation based system. Enter your information and we will send you a confirmation e-mail to that e-mail address. Once a link in that e-mail has been clicked, we will add your address to the list. So there goes that really funny idea of signing up your anti-gun friends. Haha!
For the record, this list will be used somewhat sparingly. At most we see it being used once a month or so for schedule updates, general news and the occassional Pro-Shop deal. So, if that is something you might be interested in, please sign up by clicking the "Mailing List" link in the menu. -- Webmaster |

| 10-01-09 -- Well folks it has been a while since I have updated the website. As you can see, there have been some significant changes to the menus. Specifically there is now a "Pictures" section which will feature images supplied by students and staff. There is a consolidated "Pro-Shop" section that will feature all of our school apparel, TDI/KA-BAR Knives and products, plus supplies and accessories for pistols and rifles that we keep on hand. And finally, there is a "Mailing List" page. While not currently activated, it will allow TDI to keep in better touch with our students, past and future. The mailing list will address such things as new classes, updates to the website, new services TDI offers and perhaps specials we have on extra equipment left over from the shooting season. Keep an eye out for this exciting opportunity.
And don't think this update is all administrative and boring. One thing we have been working on is a TDI / KA-BAR video. I can't give any specifics yet, but we are in final production right now. Below is a peek and what it might entail. But keep this quiet. It's a secret...
That is all for now. More to come soon. --Webmaster |

| 04-15-09 -- Lots going around here this spring. The Buckeye Blast lived up to its name. We had a full turn out by pro-second amendment supporters (voters) and even a few elected officials . Randy Beuche and his IDPA SRO crew from Oxford, Ohio were on hand to run some IDPA stages. The instructors from TDI were running square ranges, a LFH and the Force-on-Force house. And BFA did an excellent job keeping us all fed and hydrated. Happiness is a warm gun and a full stomach.
I am still gathering some pics and hope to have them up shortly. --Webmaster |
|||
| 03-25-09 -- We have added an ariel view of the TDI campus. This should help new students navigate their way around the property. It shows all of the major ranges, buildings and live fire houses (LFHs). As a general rule, all new students will meet at the Lower Range. After you enter the campus driveway take your first available left, and drive down the hill.

| 03-15-09 -- Updates to the About page with more descriptions and pictures of our facilities. This includes GPS coordinates and a map of the TDI campus.
Also a student who attended our Tactical Rifle Classes was nice enough to write a couple of reviews. You can find both of them in the Media section. This only recently came to our attention through an accidential Google search. Go figure. --Webmaster |

| 03-04-09 -- We have been offering our Active Shooter / Killer Course for a number of years. You can find this course listed on the "Courses" section or click the pic below.

| 01-21-09 --A Few things to address. Visitors will see a few more changes to the website. That would be the addition of three more menu options. Please note that these sections are still under construction and need some tweaking. But they are as follows:
1. TDI Products. -- This section will feature weapons and products designed by the TDI staff. These products are always available for purchase, but until further notice; please call or e-mail to place an order. We don't have an e-commerce solution installed yet. 2. Pro-Shop. -- Our venerable Pro-Shop. Run by the tireless John Motil. It is here that students can find replacements to parts and gear that breaks during class. If you have questions about the gear you wish to bring to class, or want suggestions BEFORE you purchase gear, John Motil will be able to answer your questions. 3. Media. -- It is here that we will be placing all media stories about TDI, our training and products: Videos, magazine articles, television and newspaper stories.

12-22-08-- The Buckeye Firearms Association is having their "Buckeye Blast" at TDI again in 2009. Scheduled for April 5th, 2009. This one day event is tons of fun and always has a high turnout. All proceeds go to BFA and their Pro-Second Amendment work throughout the State of Ohio.
Do you value your CCW permit? Does your local government still enforce anti-guns laws that were deemed unconstitutional? Do you enjoy the right to carry your concealed firearm in state parks? Then support the BFA. Check out their website here: |

11-20-08-- Just so our students are aware, since we have been making so many changes to the website, the resulting links in the search engines are a little slow in catching up. So if you or one of your friends clicks a link in Google for TDI; and it comes up broken, that is just temporary. Have him/her refresh the page and the page you seek will be there. Or just type in www.tdiohio.com in the url bar. --Webmaster -- 11-17-08--Updates being done to the FAQ section. A little messy right now as we test it out. Check back for updates. --Webmaster 11-15-08 Welcome to the News section of the website. As some of you are aware, we are making come changes to the site. So please don't mind the construction.
